The photos speak for themselves, but it never ceases to surprise what a lot we achieved in 5 years.  It was been a learning experience as we had to contend with hungry deer and scavenging badgers!

We discovered that deer do not like highly scented plants so that is what we have used along with plants that provide all year round interest and structure.

Gertrude Jekyll would not recognize all the plants we have used but we're sure she would condone the changes which have been necessary - she was a practical woman of her time and we are trying to be practical in ours.
